Clothes

We suggest modest, comfortable clothes appropriate for 80-90+ degree weather. Loose clothing is recommended, preferably made of cotton. Modest shorts and T-shirts are appropriate for outdoors ministry. Remember to bring a cool but appropriate Sabbath outfit. Sabbath dress can consist of a collared shirt and non-denim long pants for males, and skirts or dresses for females. Some have made it a practice to bring clothing they are willing to give away towards the end of the trip.

Toiletries

• Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush
• Deodorant

• Towel (and washcloth if you use one)

Try to pack light. Don’t plan on more than one suitcase and one carry-on with personal items. The second suitcase is to be used for medicine, material and clothes to give away.
